Last night I had a very vivid dream vision of my back door opened wide and a German Shepherd pup strolling through my house to the living room where I was sitting. I was alarmed at first but once I sensed the dog was not showing any signs of attack, I settled down to greet him/ her.

As I do with every dream vision of have of animals , I looked up the symbolism of this breed of dog to see what it meant. Of course, all dogs are symbols of unconditional love, but each has their own unique message.

When a German Shepherd enters your life, it brings with it this message:

Know that you are free to make your own choices in life. There is no need to follow others blindly and without question.

When you have a shepherd dream, it highlights your protective instincts and attentiveness to your current situation. The vision is letting you know that you have the abilities to see through things with courage and intelligence. In other words, trust your instincts.

I intuitively see this dream vision as a sign that I am open to receive new love into my life, drop the barriers that I have put up, trust my intuition that this new love is safe and will not hurt me.
