Notes from me: I yearn for deeper connections where compassion and the sense of really knowing where the other is coming from is present. Some times we shield are eyes from really looking into the eyes of others or we avoid direct eye contact. I catch myself when I do this and look– really look. There are times when people have accused me of staring at them and, yes, at times I do but for the most part I’m really looking at them and searching for the real person inside of them. With long distance relationships where I actually can’t see them, I try to sense their energy and may, on occasions, ask provoking questions that may make them uncomfortable. That is not my intention. My intention is to get to know them, understand what drives them and make friends with their intimate self. Notes from me: Have you ever had the experience of speaking to someone and their eyes are glazed over? You know that they are not listening. I’m sure that I am guilty of that a time or two…. or more. Communication is a two way connection. If you’re talking but not listening, you’ve close up that connection. There’s a motto that goes something like this: ” You were given two ears of which to hear from and my mouth to speak.” If gives you pause doesn’t it? For today, be conscious of others who may have something valuable to say. Listen.

Note from me: Life is filled with ups and downs. At times, we are thrown into the lion’s den figuratively to fight our way out. Chose positive thoughts always and know that you have the strength to succeed. Negative thoughts out. Positive thoughts in. How sweet is that?

Last night I had a very vivid dream vision of my back door opened wide and a German Shepherd pup strolling through my house to the living room where I was sitting. I was alarmed at first but once I sensed the dog was not showing any signs of attack, I settled down to greet him/ her.

As I do with every dream vision of have of animals , I looked up the symbolism of this breed of dog to see what it meant. Of course, all dogs are symbols of unconditional love, but each has their own unique message.

When a German Shepherd enters your life, it brings with it this message:

Know that you are free to make your own choices in life. There is no need to follow others blindly and without question.

When you have a shepherd dream, it highlights your protective instincts and attentiveness to your current situation. The vision is letting you know that you have the abilities to see through things with courage and intelligence. In other words, trust your instincts.

I intuitively see this dream vision as a sign that I am open to receive new love into my life, drop the barriers that I have put up, trust my intuition that this new love is safe and will not hurt me.

The great Elk represents the Earth element in it’s masculine form. This means it provides underlying support and stability amidst life’s many changes. Notes from me: The Deer and Elk are strong representations of the yin/ yang , male/ female aspects of the world in general and the inside of us specifically. That is when we are in balance when we blend the two. They are of the earth and they ground us. So, what lies in the middle of them? Well, the dragonfly does and they bring their energy of balance to the mind and what see and don’t see. Dragonfly asks us to center ourselves, quiet our minds and really look at a situation. Dragonfly is of the Air element and is about a higher perspective. Ground yourself then take flight. With the grounding energy working as an anchor, we can soar and explore all the things we cannot from the ground but can always come back down when we need to. What a wonderful reading! It uplifted me.
