Deck- Halloween Oracle by Stacey DeMarco

Today’s card: Ghost- Regret

Like smoke rising from the ashes
A mist from the sea
The dead they are watching
They have come to haunt me

Should the ghost come gliding into your life during divination, it may indicate that you have some regrets to let go of. Holding grudges and regrets is burdensome work and weighs us down eventually. By taking actions to free ourselves of these old burdens, we clear the way for some rightful and wise action for the future. We can begin to live again fully if we let go of what was and step into new possibilities.

Note from Me: Regrets and grudges that we still hold onto are like ghosts. They will haunt us until we make peace with them and let them go from our life. Sometimes things don’t work out they way we wanted and may have expected but that doesn’t mean we should carry them around with us like baggage. As the saying goes ” Life doesn’t always give us want we want but will give us what we need” and that could simply be a lesson we needed to learn.

Today’s Card- Vampire- Emotional Intelligence

Should the Vampire card appear in your reading, it may indicate that you are being drained in this way and the time has come for stronger boundaries. We have to be very aware of what gives us energy and what takes it away. We should be aware of needing people to need us and why we invite people like this into our environment (home) , workplaces and lives if we indeed have them around us. Developing the emotional intelligence within ourselves, helps us defend ourselves against this kind of emotional and “psychic” attacks and enables us to foster healthy equal relationships of all kinds.

Note from Me: Who’s draining you? We all have people who when we connect with them, afterwards, we feel depleted. Be cautious of these type of people. Set boundaries. Shield yourself.

I was given a nudge to really celebrate and immerse myself in the Halloween traditions and history of the Holiday this Halloween week. I purchased this deck, Halloween Oracle by Stacey DeMarco as well the Halloween Tarot deck by Kipling West. Both decks have a very good energy to them and I’m looking forward to playing with them this week. I also over the weekend looked at some very old pictures of my various Halloween costumes I wore as a child and some pictures of my sons costumes when they were children. It helped me to recapture the fun of the holiday. Do look up the meaning and history of this holiday for yourself. You’ll be glad you did. So, shall we begin to play?

Today, I chose a daily message for us from the Halloween oracle by Stacey DeMarco. The Card for today is: Skull of the Flowers- Creating through the ashes.

To blossom and bloom
The work must be done
Through fire and ashes
Our fortune it comes

Sometimes we wish for a life that’s different then the one we have and that can mean radical change. Sometimes to have that new life, everything falls apart to make it so- and that can be uncomfortable. We may lose our relationships or they may change. We might lose a job, have to move to a new home or become ill- all big events that lead to reassessment of the ” how” of our lives. The Skull of Flowers illustrates that there is a sureness and yet a rawness to starting afresh. Sometimes, the Universe gives us a blank slate to work from, so we can build what we really want, rather than just settling for less. The Skull of Flowers not just a kind of Phoenix energy but an energy of success and full bloom through adversity.

Notes from Me: So, there you have it. The beginning of the week is upon us and perhaps for some a new beginning in our life. It’s hard work to begin again but from the ashes of endings come a Phoenix energy of unlimited possibilities.

Native Spirit Oracle Reading- 10/23/19

Question: Great Spirit, give us a positive, affirmation message for today?

Left Card- Trickster

Things are not as they seem. Something that seems bad may in fact be good or vice versa. Don’t take everything at face value. Look beneath the surface. This card reminds you to find gentle amusement or humor in seemingly difficult situations. It also encourages you to find irrepressible fun. Step out of the mold.

This card offers you the opportunity the outmoded ways of perceiving yourself. The Trickster allows you to see yourself in an entirely new way and asks you to step out of old routines and habits that might be keeping you stagnant.

Middle Card- Wounded Healer

Healing energy, vitality and life-force energy through you and to you. You are a healer, and you provide healing for others, even if you’re not conscious of it. Whatever needs healing in your life is being resolved. Your so called faults are becoming your virtues. No matter what happened in the past does not have to equal the future. It’s true, the cracks can be where the light enters the soul.

Right Card- Tracker

Focus your intent and passion on one thing, rather than being scattered in many different directions. Be single minded in what is truly important in your life , and let everything else go. Track the unseen ( but very real ) stream of energy to that which you desire.

What you see around you is the result of what you focus on. When you direct your thoughts, you attract positive experiences and people in your life but if you focus o what isn’t working, you create more challenges.

Notes from Me: Change the way you perceive your life. Find the humor in what challenges you. You are being healed and are a healer. Our minds are capable of healing our selves. We must find the right frame of mind in order to do so. Change your inner dialogue to affirming thoughts and believes. Yes, I can heal. Yes, I am healed. It opens the energy to flow freely. Stay focused on what you want and desire in your life. Let the negativity go. Take each day as it comes. Be present, be grateful and be positive.

Snake Dream – Snake Spirit Message- 10/20/19

plains_gartersnake_colorado_1-2-15

I had a dream last night of snake. I was at a home of someone who was was having a party. There was an outdoor deck and out from underneath a dog was laying there. He was a dog from my past- a brown dog, When I went to greet the dog, I saw there was a snake and I became fearful that it would bite the dog. The dog came out from underneath and the snake followed afterwards. The snake wasn’t in pursuit of the dog, it was following me. I was afraid. Everywhere I went , the snake followed me and I tried to get away but it would always find me. I was afraid of it’s bite but it never bit.

I dream a lot but when I dream of an animal, I always look up it’s spirit message.

A snake symbolism is letting you know that transformation is taking place. A snake is a powerful symbol that represents the source of life. There is a healing taking place as well as we shed old ways as the snake sheds it’s skin, to make room for growth of new. Snake is also a symbol of the mystical. It brings with it increased energy, important transitions, change and, again, healing opportunities. It may also bring a new source of creativity.

My interpretation of my dream : Never fear change. It is inevitable. Don’t walk away from it. Invite it in.

Also, I wanted to make mention that dog is my life time totem. Dog’s are symbols of loyalty and unconditional love. I was born in the Year of the Dog as well. Dog’s hold a very special part in my life. I believe in this dream that the dog was reminding me that it will protect me always.

Oracle Reading for 10.12.19

I find myself inspired to do a reading from a specific tweet on social media. Who/ what inspired me today? It was a tweet from one of my favorite people on the planet, Paul Abrahamian @deadskulltweet. He was tweeting about our treatment of our planet’s resources and our relationship to all living beings who inhabit the Earth. So it got me thinking ” how can we be better stewards of our planet and all living beings/ things on it?

I chose the Earth Magic Oracle Deck by Steven D. Farmer. Here’s are the cards:

Left card- Forest- Breath

The richness of the forest’s oxygen , given freely and generously from the trees to us is a natural exchange for the carbon dioxide we release every time we exhale. Further the animals of the forest participate in this exchange as well in what is one of the most miraculous and remarkable collaborations between plants and animals that serve to help each other live and thrive.

Through prayer and action, we can express our gratitude to these tree beings for the many gifts they provide , not the least of which is contributing to the very air we breathe.

Remember that every breath you inhale is a gift and every breath you exhale is a gift.

Middle Card- Love- Compassion

Respect the fact that your heart is a giver( putting out electrical energy) and a receiver ( drawing in magnetic energy). These energies are best sensed by the steady flow of your breathing while also noticing your heart area. Righteousness, fear anger, and judgement are some common ways to block your natural desire to love. Forgiveness is not just letting go of judgement but also seeing through the illusion that you and All-That-Is are separate. Look about you and inside of you , and do your best to love whatever you see.

Right card- Dawn- New Beginnings

This is a time to say farewell to the old and honor the new by releasing any self imposed constraints or resistance to the truth that you know. Just as dawn gives way to the new day, by heeding your inner guidance, you will succeed…. and EVOLVE.

Note from Me- We are all part of the whole of this planet- every living thing and creature make up the whole of who we are. We should not take anything for granted for everything contributes to life as we know it. Do not be shallow to think that humans are the sole inhabitants on Earth and we reign supreme. We are all equal. We draw from each other. Just because we can not understand something means it is of less value. Don’t be ignorant. Accept all. Love all. Know that every day is a new chance to embrace all.

Now is the time to become better stewards of this planet.

Deck- Energy Oracle Reading by Sandra Anne Taylor

Left card- Woman Holding a Coin- Female connection in money, health or value

See the woman holding the coin close to her. She holds her worth close to her.
see the cat sitting next to her. The cat is a symbol of independence and mystery. She has all the answers in her hand. She owns her worth. OR

There’s a female connection that may hold the keys to unlock her worth. She may also be a health worker who can help her with any issues she may be having about her health.

You decide what meaning this card holds for you.

Middle Card- Blossoming Abundance- Increasing Wealth and Abundance

Be aware that you sown the seeds of your own wealth, prosperity and worth just like the gardener works the ground and begins to see the blossoming growth take place. The Universe is blessing you and helping the fruits of your labor to blossom. So smell the flowers and tend to the growth. Be grateful and enjoy.

You must always work on yourself in order to have growth. You tend to your own self confidence and self worth. See the work take hold as you begin to blossom as a soul.

Right card- Fourth chakra ( Heart chakra) Archangel Raphael
Love, Compassion and Self- Acceptance

You now have a great readiness to receive love from others as well as yourself.
The tender vibrations of Raphael remind you to encourage yourself self talk that you desire to hear from others. Know that as you do , the light from your heart center will shine with an irresistible beauty and the Universe will send people and situations that cause your sense of love and support to grow and grown.

Note from Me: If we read the cards in combination of each other, I think that the message is really about our own self worth. We must first do the work to know and acknowledge our value and as we do this work, we will begin to realize the fruits of labor will blossom and open us up to new situations and people who will see the light of love shining from us and gravitate towards us in amazing and abundant ways.

Reminder- As you read these cards, draw your own unique message from them.

Spread- Joy spread

1. King of Wand- Where to Find Joy

Creative Inspired Action. Who inspires you and uplifts you? Where do you find that creative muse? What can you do to energize that creative flow? Listen to music. Read a beautiful story/ poem? Watch a good movie.

2. The Hermit- How to enhance it?

Time for reflection and meditation. Quiet Time, Searching the Soul. Asking Spirit to guide you.

People come and go in our lives. Some stay a lifetime. Some come in to learn a lesson. Some come specifically to guide you and then go. Some are soul family- kindred spirits. They vibrate in the same frequency as you and others do not. They can actually rob you of joy but we learn from that.

Also, we must always appreciate the joy in others. Don’t envy it. Don’t resent it because you may not feel joyous. Celebrate it. It will uplift you.

4. 6 of Swords- How to maximize it

Don’t just sit there and wait for joy to find you. It’s already there for you. You just have to know where you personally find it in your life. Go do that.
