End of the Week- Animal Bound
Stand up for all animals

You have a special relationship with all animals. The world needs you to stand up and have a voice for all animals on this planet. Help protect wildlife and rescue animals if you can. Give a donation or get involved online. Volunteering to animal shelters would be rewarding. This may be just the time for you a cat or a dog from a shelter and give it a loving home.

Notes from Me: My two older sons are adults and independent. They are forging their way in this world and are quite capable of handling their selves. Still, I worry about their safety. This tells me that they are protected and I breathe a sigh of relief. I can let go of the worry. I may not have a lot of friends but the friends that I do have I value and appreciate. I will lend a hand, a comforting ear and comfort when they need it. They do the same in kind. I have grown to have a great love for animals. I look to them for guidance. In kind, I take good care of any animals that crosses my path. It calls to my mind yesterday when I was driving to the store. A baby squirrel darted across the road and I stopped until he crossed it. This is just a small example of how you can care for animals and take care of them.

Notes from Me: This deck is always so powerful whenever I read from it. It’s a special connection from me to Divine Spirit. It never fails to move me.
I think the most important message for me to hear and remember is that I do have a tribe- I am never alone. I may not have many physical connections with others but I always have people that are part of my soul family that I connect and vibrate with in the here and now. I also have tremendous support from others that have moved on from the physical plane but whose spirit and energy is always with me. I am strong. I can face adversity. I will always have full support from all helpers- spiritual beings, animal spirits, plant spirits, spiritual guides and spirits of people that I knew in this life time that have passed on but whose spirit still is around me and who I have access to. So be it.

Notes from Me: I felt very scattered this morning and alone. Being alone is generally not a bad thing for me but there was this yearning in my soul for companionship- a friend. It was a residual affect from a dream that I had. So, I got a nudge from the fairies to spend some time with them. I did a fairy meditation and in my meditation I came upon a big tree in a lush forest. Everything was green. On the trunk of the tree was a face with branches that were arms outstretched inviting me with an embrace and invitation to rest my head. I found comfort in that. Then a fairy took me deep with the ocean underwater. I could see the bubbles coming from my mouth and we were free to swim and let the ocean heal me. It was a wonderful respite.

I then shuffled this deck, and chose some cards. Here’s the weird part. I chose the same cards from the previous reading that I did a few weeks ago. I reread the reading knowing there was a message for me and then shuffled again and chose three new cards which I posted above.

By showing kindness, we possess compassion for others. We love them unconditionally and our hearts are wide open. We possess angelic qualities in all that we do and it is comfort to others. Remember to take time out for stillness and quiet. In this sacred space, we find the peace that we seek. Always remember as well that we have people who are with us that guide us on our path. They are seen and unseen. We feel their presence if we quiet the chaos of our mind chatter and just breathe. Be one with all who are here for us to guide us and support us.

This afternoon when I took some time to relax and rest my eyes, I saw a vision of White Gladiolus. The white was sparkling and they were in a field quite similar to the image I posted. That’s how I receive visions. It’s that time right when I close my eyes and before i go to sleep or before I open my eyes when I wake up. Every vision brings a message for me.

Gladiolus are a message of strength, moral integrity, infatuation and passion. The color white is a symbol of purity.

It was a message that means a lot to me personally as I always check in with my self worth. Just thought that I’d share the gift. Fun fact- Gladiolus is my birth flower.

Question- I originally asked if the protests would produce an upsurge of positive Covid cases but the reading took off in a different direction of it’s own. I believe it’s reading the spiritual aspects of what these protests will produce. This was read before the violence took place throughout many cities including my own but reading this back this morning, 6/ 1/ 20, it reinforces the power of this reading when I first placed the cards. It encourages and inspires me. Perhaps that’s why when I first pulled the cards and did the reading I had a strong sense of putting it away for awhile and re-visiting it?

Situation- Ace of Wands- a new source of inspiration and passion

Crossing card- 4 of Swords- Taking a rest, recovery

Foundation- 2 of Swords- Duality, balancing and influencing two alternative or complimentary aspects.( What you see isn’t always what you get.)

Past- 4 of Wands- Celebration- Announcement of Positive news

Present- Page of Wands- Eagerness to try new things and new ways

Near Future- Ace of Cups- Deeply experienced feelings and emotional awareness especially love, compassion and affection- comradery

The Protests- King of Wands- Great convictions, original ideas and creative strategies.

Environment surrounding the Protests- 5 of Wands- Various directions, cross purposes, internal conflict

Hopes and Fears- Knight of Swords- assertive action vs. aggressive action

Outcome- Queen of Wands- Energy, warmth, enthusiasm, vibrancy. Handling things with grace.

I found it quite encouraging that both the King and Queen of Wands showed up for this reading. It brings out the yin-yang aspect of the situation and a great coupling.

I think this reading is a reminder for all of us, and me personally, that when all is said and done, if we look deeply into the pure essence of these protests against the senseless brutality and alleged murder of George Floyd and racial divide that still exists, we will see the pure intentions of these protests. A coming together to shine the light on this so that we can move forward together, stronger as a nation for the common cause of freedom from oppression and a seamless blending of all races. We are all one. Black lives matter.

Only through turmoil and unrest can resolution be found.

Notes from me: Focus on the blessings and be grateful for all. You create a positive energy in that way and will draw more to you. Take your stance and show/ share love through action. Remember, actions speak louder than words. Don’t hide your love in fear that you may be rebuffed. Show love in all you do and be brave with your heart. Ask for spiritual help to assist you. When you do this, you open yourself to love flowing back to you. Love is healing and is an elixir to all that ails you. Be that harbinger of change that is needed at this time.

Personal note about the creator of these cards: Denise Linn is one of the many mentors in my spiritual practice. Holy rage, sacred anger and positive aggression – these states are crucial aspects of the divine feminine. It’s the female power that ends wars, that brings home missing children, that seeks justice for the Earth and for those who can’t defend themselves.

Notes from me: I wanted to do a reading calling on the Divine Feminine in honor of Mother’s day which we celebrated on Sunday. My layout is based on the Four Directions .
