Card- The Star

Symbology of images on this card:

Archangel Raphael- whose name means ” God Heals” facilitates physical and emotional well-being and helps to ease the pain of those who suffer

Stars- represents hopes and wishes. They don’t promise results now ; rather, they are about having faith in the situation.

Water: As a tarot symbol, water is generally associated with emotions, intuition and the subconscious

Dolphin: represents health and well-being, happy and playful

Direct Meaning of the Card- Being hopeful, feeling positive, gaining a sense of serenity and faith, feeling spiritually and emotionally nourished, replenished, refreshed, restored and healing. Also being generous and giving back.

Angel message: If you are injured, first you must heal. Try to be patient, trust in the process.

Notes from Me: The Star is a Major Arcana card in the tarot. It’s one of the best ones to see. It speaks of hope and faith that things will be turn out in the long run. I love seeing this card when I do a tarot read. What tickles me is that it goes along very well with the oracle card I pulled earlier today. What also struck me is that both cards use the color navy blue. I’ve been attracted a lot to this color lately. It symbolizes importance, confidence, power and authority, intelligence, stability and unity. The color blue in general represents peace, depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, and faith.

A healing stone that is navy blue/ indigo is lapis luzuli. Lapis Luzuli is the stone that represents the Third eye Chakra- place of intuition, knowing and dreaming. When two people embrace each other and join together forehead to forehead, they are meeting and acknowledging each other on a soul level. Trust is key.

I hope whoever reads this post finds peace in this message and is patient enough to trust in the process. Have a little faith. Hope is a beautiful thing.

Notes from me; I say a daily bedtime prayer thanking the angels for supporting me, encouraging me, guiding me and unconditionally loving me. I thank them for their continuous presence in my life. This card reminds me and affirms for me that they hear me and they protect me always. I’ve have some key times in my life where I could feel them with me and they protected me from danger. When I am stressing out, I feel them comforting me and my anxiety de-escalates. I feel a warm glow of calmness and I know they have my back always. I am grateful for their presence and know that I am never alone.

My wish for you today, whomever reads this post, can know and experience the Angels in their life. All you have to do is call them and they’ll be there. Look for the signs from them. When I first started connecting fully to them, they left dimes along my path. One of Angelic signs is coins and also include numbers, repeated number sequences, and feathers to name a few. Keep your heart open for their messages.

From Oracle deck Everyday Witch- Make a Move

Today I was pulling cards from this Oracle deck for a daily message and two popped out. For this card, I decided to just meditate on the image. As you can see on the card, this male and female witch are in ballet pose with their feet in a stream. They have sparklers in their hands of sorts invoking the magic of water. Fish are popping out of the water dancing along with them. A cat is batting at the fish playfully. There’s a gentle waterfall flowing around them and otters as their audience. There’s healing magic all around them. They are carefree and very much alive in the moment. All of this reminded me of Will dancing. It’s magic. It’s empowering, seductive, inspiring and soothing. Symbols from this card and their meanings are:

Water- emotions, healing, life itself in all of it’s enthusiastic ways

Fish- abundance

Cat- mystery, intuition, inner knowing

Otters- Givers of great fortune. Symbolize friendship, peace, kindness and family. They are also symbols of grace, empathy, happiness and never-ending curiosity.

As I’m studying this card, I can hear the song ” Get On Your Feet” by Gloria Estefan in my ear. ‘

” Get on your feet. Get up and make it happen. Get on your feet. Stand up and take some action.’

That’s the message of this card. Don’t just sit there. Get up and move. Get it done. Make the magic happen. Feel. Heal.

These are all my intuitive thoughts of this today. Whoever reads this, I hope it inspires you to move with the rhythm and flow of life.

Thoughts from me: Well, I’ve been really stuck in a huge rut these days and I need to snap out of it. Some of my happiest times have been when I used my innate creativity and passion to charge up the atmosphere. Let’s face it. It’s been a tough year and then some. We are limited and isolated in so many ways due to the pandemic. It’s hard to get a spark of inspiration. So, bring out the books. Listen to the music. Watch a good movie and connect socially to others on your social media platform of choice. Don’t be shy to reach out and tell someone you love what they do. Share your creative projects with others. Don’t get discouraged. You just never know who you can inspire. Go for it.

Notes from Me: To me personally, the pentacles suit is about worth- not just material but also worth of self. The family depicted on this card is rich in wealth. They have everything they need materially to be content. When the angelic message says’ in any way possible” I think it indicates your own self worth as well. You can have all the money in the world but are you truly satisfied and content. Tend to your own garden of worth as well. In that way as well as materially, you will find contentment and a sense of true sense of fulfillment.

Angelic Message- Take care not to confuse the strength of compassion with the weakness of sentimentality.

Notes from Me: Each sign in the zodiac has a tarot card associated with it. Strength is Leo’s card. I’m a Leo so this card really holds a special place for me. As I was posting this, I heard the message ” taming of the beast”. It’s gentle strength that wins the day. It’s feeling compassion for others. It’s the strength that lives inside each of us. Don’t ever think that you aren’t strong enough to handle something. You are strong enough to handle any storm. Be patient. The tide will turn as it always does and you will have weathered any challenge bravely.

Notes from me: I believe ( or heard through the grapevine) that tomorrow marks a New Moon / Solar Eclipse which brings about resolving conflicts from the past, letting them go and moving on. This card is perfect as a reminder of this. If we continue to carry our burdens,, conflicts and things that we have not resolved, we will continue to carry a heavy load. That’s backbreaking . What is one conflict from the past that you would like to resolve? Think about it. Meditate on it. Forgive the persons involved. Forgive yourself. Let go of the burden. Lay it down and carry on.

Angel Message- Take care when pushing through a goal. Putting too much pressure on yourself can lead to burnout… and what good comes of that?

Notes from me: Steady goes the race. Pace yourself. You have all the materials to succeed as long as you’re on an even keel. Sometimes, you control the horse and other times the horse controls you.

I’m excited to use this deck for tarot readings but a good way of becoming familiar with a deck and reading with it is to familiarize yourself to it thus a card of the day.

I’ve been witnessing a few people who are feeling smaller than small these days and as if they don’t matter in this world. I’ll be honest. I’ve felt that way more than I care to admit. The thing is that it starts with you. That fire is always inside of you. It may be an ember or it may be a full fledged wildfire. We are the keeper of our fire. It’s up to us to tend to it regularly and then share it without any expectations of attention or applause. Keep on going. You just never know when you can fan the flames and spark that fire in someone else.
