Dream of extra Finger on hand- 5/12/25

Last night, I had a dream of growing an extra middle finger on my left hand. It’s the first time I ever had a dream quite like that. So, I did some research aka google it to find out what dreams on fingers mean.

Hmm? I’m fascinated but a bit leary of lucid dreaming. This was an interesting find. I do believe that I’ve had lucid dreams before but I think my uneasiness about it keeps me away from doing so. Also, they say that sometimes are body parts are distorted somewhat in dreams.

Well, this is true. I am often misunderstood. Many times. I’ve been labeled as dramatic. This has a negative connotation and one that I’ve always battled. I’m am an expressive person. I am theatrical in my expressions. It’s the frustated actor in me. I am, however, not dramatic and always seeking attention. There, I said

Now, this I found this interesting too. I didn’t know that each finger has a specific spiritual meaning. Now, I do. You learn something new every day and I love that.

The dream was quite bazaar. I could actually feel that extra finger growing in my dream. Well, here’s to working on expressing myself better and being more understood. I’ve been working on this for a long time now but I still struggle with it. I say a prayer to Archangel Gabriel most days to guide me in expressing myself effectively. He’s the Archangel for communication.

So it goes in dreamland. Just wanted to share.

Mourning Dove Peering into My Kitchen Window- 4/27/25

Wow! So minutes ago, I , with my son, were looking at our kitchen window and a mourning Dove, in flight, was looking at us through the kitchen window. What a spectacular sight! ( this was the closest image I could find to what we saw.)

Symbolically, this bird can be associated with mourning and sorrow, but these birds can be viewed as both spiritual and hopeful. Mourning Doves , as well as Doves, are considered a universal symbol of peace.

When the mourning dove visits you, it gives a message of encouragement and hope.

Doves are widely recognized as symbols of peace, love and hope. They represent purity and spiritual guidance. Their gentle nature and soothing presence often make them a sign of comfort and reassurance.

I love the call of the mourning dove and I hear/ see them often in around my backyard and home. I will call back to them too. They always give me a sense of peace.

Here’s a picture that I took of a Mourning Dove on my neighbor’s awning.

Dream of a Black Squirrel 4/25/25

My dream time is very rich at times. I brings things that I never knew about. Like the dream I had last night. I never knew that squirrels can be pitch black . Now, I do.

I had a dream that I was in an empty convention center of sorts. There were workers there who were cleaning up. In the corner, I saw an arcade game. It was one of those crane games where you move the crane to grab a prize. There were no toys in it but when I looked closer there was a black squirrel scurring around in it. I alerted one of the workers about the squirrel and when we approached the game, the squirrel got out, ran over to me, jumped on my shoulder and scratched me. I was freaking out and afraid that the squirrel may have poisoned me. EEK!!

So, I did research on this dream today. Black squirrels do exist. In some Native American cultures, a black squirrel is a symbol of good luck, prosperity and abundance. It has been found that black squirrels can be more agressive.

All of this fits into my life style. I am a Caregiver/ Advocate for my youngest son who has multiple disabilities. I’ve been doing this for over 30 years and the stress is real. When I connect the dots of the dream, it all makes sense. I forget to play and have fun . I’m usually overwhelmed. This is a reminder to do so.

Dream of the Green/ Grass fairie

A few nights ago, I had a very vivid dream of a fairy in a yard of tall grass. Amongst the grass was yellow wild flowers. She was standing and, as I got a closer look , she wore a beautiful, velvety green gown. She was sparkling. She was speaking to me but I could not hear what she said. Then, a vision of my Irish Grandmother, Mary, was there just as I remembered her. She said something to me as well but I could not hear her either.

The dream, afterward, made me feel peaceful but I still wondered what they said. So , yesterday, I went into fairy meditation to ask. This is what the fairy said ” You are magic. Magic resides in you and all around you. Use your magic. Then, I heard my grandmom say ” You were always magical. I could sense this in you as a child. Use your magic .”

So, just bits and pieces of information I gathered/ know. First, green is a very healing color and was predominant in this dream. Dream meaning of a fairy is that it will bring you good luck and blessings. They also bring you healing.

Since it’s St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow, it was very apropos. May the healing magic begin.

The Spirit Animals that showed up in my Meditation- 2/27/25

Meditation is important to me if I’m trying to connect with the Divine. It strengthens me and gives me peace. Lately, I’ve been meditating solely with meditation music. It gives me free reign to take me wherever I want to go.

Yesterday, 3 animals showed up in my meditation. First came the Cougar.

If the cougar has approached you, it is a indication that you have come into your own power. Now is the time to take the lead in the situation. Now is the time to be strong. The cougar symbolizes leadership, decisiveness, and the ability to take charge of one’s life and circumstances.

Second, came the Hawk.

The Hawk represents clear vision, intuition and the ability to swiftly rise above any challenges, and obstacles in the way.

Third came the Dog. I was born in the Year of the Dog and I carry with me the qualities of the dog.

The dog spirit is always with me especially the dogs who shared my life with me for awhile. I love this description of the significance of Dog spirit. The picture symbolizes a shape shifter of sorts. Very cool!

These animals were a gift to me. I am going through some tough times in my life and they are here to remind me that I am strong, have keen intution and can handle anything that comes my way. Don’t be discouraged. Have faith in myself and know that I am guided and protected always.

Thank you Cougar, Hawk and Dog for showing up in my meditation. You give me peace of mind.

Oracle Reading- 2/22/25

Angelic Vibrations Oracle deck by Josephine Wall- Such a beautiful deck!

I was looking for some inspiration yesterday and some uplifting messages. I decided to pull from this deck. The artwork is beautiful.

Here’s the cards:

Left card- Growing Older

Message- We are all getting older-the only question is whether we are aging in our thoughts and perspectives or becoming wiser.

Middle card- Caring

Message- Being solicitous always means taking care of yourself too.

Right card- Faithfulness

Message- You may have to disappoint someone to stay true to yourself.

So, this message is all about self-care and self- love. Also, obtaining wisdom is evolving in lieu of being stuck in the same old stagnant beliefs and thoughts. Keep your mind open, learn new things, words etc to enhance your life’s experiences and become wiser. The definition of wise has nothing to do with intelligence. Wise means having or showing experience , knowledge and good judgement. Be forever curious and willing to learn and understand. You will oftain wisdom in doing so as well as developing compassion for others. Always show care for yourself and never lose yourself in caring for others. Always be true to yourself and maintain safe and sound boundaries.

So shall it be!

Oracle Reading for encouragement- 2/16/25

Cosmic Energy Deck by Empathsoul

Since the beginning of this year, I keep on getting strong messages for us to leave the time of “Me” way of thinking and come together as a collective for the sake of humanity’s survival. I cannot handle the projectory of where our nation is heading. It’s been making me anxious and it’s hard to overcome the fear. Last night before going to bed, I asked for a message from the Cosmic for all us— some beacon of hope to hang onto. These are the cards that I pulled:

Harmony- Harmony is the beautiful melody in relationships.

Collaboration- Collaboration achieves greater goals

Connection- Stay connected with others, nature and the Universe

Trust-Trust your intuition. The Universe guides you.

As they say, “We’re in this together. With a little bit of cooperation, we achieve what we desire. There is truly strength in numbers.

I hope this gives you a bit of hope and peace. It did for me.

Symbolism of The Black Rose

I watched this movie last night, The Tearsmith, and I was very moved and touched by the script and story. It was riveting and it’s message, essentially to me anyway, was something beautiful can come from very dark places. At one point in the movie, a black rose was given to a young girl. Now, my first reaction was negative. Black sometimes represents sadness, loss, and mourning yet I thought that any flower can be beautiful in it’s own pureness. Ah Ha! I shall research the black rose and it’s symbolism in love and relationships.

from gardengram.in/blogs/blogs/black-roses-unveiling-their-mystical-symbolism

You see, something beautiful can come from dark places.
