A comment left on my previous Blue Jay post had me curious about the differences between the Blue Jay and the Bluebird: Here’s a short description between the two:
” There are key differences between the blue jay and bluebird. Birds that look like blue jays, such as bluebirds, are known for their low-pitched and warbling sounds. You will see a blue jay flying when you notice one aggressively diving at other birds. Most blue jays have head crests while bluebirds have smaller beaks and tails.
The spiritual meaning of the bluebird is joy and happiness. You will begin to notice the presence of the song of the bluebird when you start trading your happiness for someone else’s. This spiritual animal reminds us not to lose faith in the face of an adversary and not to let go of the joy while we are in the process of achieving any goal.
Overall, the bluebird spirit animal almost always means good news. Regardless of what news you receive or change you notice, a bluebird spirit animal prepares us for what lies ahead. In times of trial, it teaches us to stay confident in our plan , and when the boon comes, it nudges us to share our joy with others.
