This is a time to absorb the healing properties that nature has to offer. Your mind, body and soul need nourishment, energy, revitalization, and strength. Nature has much to offer, so take this time to connect and spend quality time outdoors.

Note from Me: What an absolutely wonderful time of year to get out and reveal in nature. The leaves are turning, the air is crisper and hopefully where you are at, the temperature is moderate. Go out and sit under that tree or find a meditative spot near water to stop, turn off your mind and connect with spirit. You will find it healing.

Card: Receive

You are a kind and loving soul who constantly reaches out and gives to others. but now it’s time for you to learn how to graciously receive. Just as with the ebb and flow of the tides, the art of giving and receiving is the natural law and order of the Universe.

Note from Me: One of my Dad’s favorite sayings was ” There are givers and receivers in life. The giver gives and the taker takes.” He would say this periodically to me and I knew that message he was trying to give me. It’s a hard lesson to learn. Always one to give a compliment, I always felt so awkward in receiving one. I was always giving of myself and yet I had a hard time receiving. Now, I finally get it. To be in the constant flow of life is where we want to be- to be open to all things flowing to us and to send out that flow to others. Just know that you are loved and know it’s up to you to also keep that flow paying forward. It’s the greatest energy.
